The spirit of the place
Nestled in the village's main street, in the heart of a pretty, typical building with modern accents, the Auberge, a charming hotel in Southern Brittany, boasts 16 bright, spacious rooms, many with views over the beautiful wooded garden. Founded in 1983 by Françoise and Jean-Luc, the Auberge is now run by the second generation of the family. Claire welcomes you to this house she knows down to the last detail, along with her mother Françoise, whom you'll meet at breakfast. The entire team is dedicated to providing you with a personalized, friendly welcome, and to ensuring that this 3-star hotel enjoys a warm, thoughtful atmosphere. Inspired cuisine The menu, composed by Claire and Julien, is a tasty marriage of two regions: Brittany, the family's native land, inspired by suppliers who have been loyal for many years or are more recent, offering top-quality products. And Auvergne, where Julien was born, where his family still lives, and where the art of cooking and tasting is also an institution. The cheese platter is a perfect example of the alliance between these two regions with their distinct culinary influences. The result of this joint composition and the chef's technical expertise are refined, gourmet dishes that delight in the tastes of the terroir, invite you to take a gourmet stroll and continue to write the history of this family of restaurateurs.
